After earning my BA in Dance and before applying to a masters program for physical therapy (and covid lulz), I realized I wanted to pursue a career that utilized the skills I already had.
With 10 years of experience with bringing sketch to products as an artist, I found my ever-changing design process overlapped with the one used for UX-- uncovering an established bridge between my background and this field.
Now having 3 years of experience in UX/UI, I can happily say I was right!
When I’m not working, you can find me knitting, partaking in a slew of DIY projects, playing tennis, or learning how to master figure skating!
I'm a self taught stained glass artist! I started in my home during the lockdown in 2020 and have created and sold pieces ever since.
When I was a bike courier, I needed a backpack that was waterproof, durable, spacious, earth-friendly, and colorful.
It took me about 6 months of prototyping and testing to figure out the type of fabric, drafting the patterns, seam finishes, hardware, dye, and coating to create what was desired.
After figuring out the materials and moving on from bike courier work, I decided to stick with creating bags and accessories.
